Could I have Heavy Metal Toxicity?

Heavy metal toxicity is a clinical condition related to the accumulation of toxic heavy metals in the body. There are many sources of heavy metals in our environment including air pollution, tainted water, tainted food among others. It has developed into a major public health disaster and is a major contributor to serious chronic diseases including cancer, heart disease and dementias such as Alzheimer's Disease.

Testing can be achieved through either blood and/or uring samples. Many persons whose blood samples appear not to have excess heavy metal levels turn out on detox challenges (using detoxifying agents which provoke excretion) to have significant body stores of heavy metal poisons such as aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, nickel and tin.  The tissue levels of heavy metals such as the above mentioned are mainly in organs such as brain, bone, kidney, liver, muscles and vasculature. The toxicity of these poisonous metals can be abated and treated by intravenous and/or oral chelation. The IV chelation however, isn't as effective in depleting tissues and organs of heavy metals as the newer more effective oral chelating agents (such as those emplyed by Dr. Mazlen at his medical office).

Dr. Mazlen draws on more than 20 years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of heavy metal toxicity to help to determine the source of heavy metal poisining in each patient. He can then determine the proper detoxification program which can safely eliminate the toxic metals from your body including the proper nutritional support to help offset the deleterious effects of a heavy metal burden.
